SuperReviews and number of views of each review

Featured Replies

Hi Ralf,

I purchased SuperReviews in 2019 but only now I have found the opportunity to use it on my website.
I saw that the number of views is not shown on the front page.
I would particularly useful to be shown as in the Superblock for main database articles.
Do you think this is something easily achievable?
Bear in mind that I know almost nothing about programming...

Something like this :

link to my website Nikonland.it

it's in italian language

Well, it is easily achievable if you know how to customize the templates. You would just need to add {$row->record_views} to show the record views in a listing template.

But if you are not experienced with HTML coding and the IPS framework, I would not suggest to do it.

That’s all I can say unfortunately. I can’t walk people through customizations.

Hi! I'm upgrading to IPB5, and of course, my REVIEWS display has become a mess.

You can view it here (this is a test environment; the production site is still on 4.7.22 and Super Review).

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks a lot !

The biggest issue is that the all the additional fields appear as these blue badges.

You would need to enter the field settings for each field and edit the “Listing View“ settings. It’s probably best to just turn the listing view off for most of those fields. Or don’t show them as badge.

There is no easy solution for the special output for the multi-image field I had in SuperReviews. I can overhaul that as a custom job for your databases if necessary.

Thanks, I'd entrust the job to you if there were a large number of reviews. After all, I think it's easier to include everything in the main database.

Thanks anyway for your kindness.
